In today’s podcast, we continue to learn how to read pattern envelopes.  We also learn about the pattern directions and the weird markings on the pattern pieces themselves.  You will need a sewing pattern to look at as you follow along.  If you don’t have a pattern envelope to available while you are listening, you can get an idea of what I’m describing by going to the McCall’s patterns website and clicking on any clothing pattern.  Beth at the Sew, Mama, Sew Blog also has a good tutorial on understanding patterns.

Naturally, I bring you up to date with the adventure of the infamous cowboy shirt!

Finally, I invite you to join  The Sewing Circle online community.
