In today’s podcast, I give you an update on the infamous cowboy shirt, invite you to join The Sewing Circle, give details about the Teach Your Children to Sew project I’m developing, and explain how to read a pattern envelope. If you don’t have a pattern envelope to available while you are listening, you can get an idea of what I’m describing by going to the McCall’s patterns website and clicking on any clothing pattern.

I tried listening to your podcast with earbuds. It sounds like something is hitting the mic during the podcast. The loud banging/popping noise is deafening. It was so loud, and physically painful. I was forced to stop listening.
I’m sorry it was physically painful. In other podcasts I have explained what the sound is…
I have tried many, many headsets–from very cheap to very expensive– trying to eliminate the sound but it still occurs. For some reason, they all pick up the sound of the earpads moving as a result of my jaw moving. When the earpad moves, it makes that sound like something hitting the microphone. I think the headsets must be designed for bigger heads. I am not in a position right now to create a home studio where I won’t need to use a headset but it is a goal of mine.
I do hope that you will try listening without earbuds and that it will be tolerable.
I can’t wait to start listening to your podcast! I found your blog when you followed me on twitter. Thanks for putting such great stuff online!
